Iscriversi a una prova Italia vs UK, parte II: UK
Dopo aver raccontato l’Italia (qui), come funzionano le cose in UK? Come ci iscrive ad una prova? Per prima cosa, se non abitata là e se il vostro cane non è registrato presso il Kennel Club occorre che andiate sul sito di questo ente cinofilo e facciate richiesta di un numero ATC (Autorizzazione a Competere). Potete scegliere tra due opzioni, acquistare solo il numero, o registrare contestualmente il microchip del vostro cane presso il database Petlog. La seconda opzione è più costosa ma migliore, in caso il cane dovesse smarrirsi sarà più facile ritrovarlo. Campionato Europeo Selvatico Abbattuto 2016 per Setter Inglesi
Nel 2016 il Pointer & Setter Club Schweiz è stato l’ente incaricato di organizzare questo importante evento che, a causa della complessa legislazione elvetica in materia di caccia (e cani) ,è stato collocato in Italia settentrionale, a circa due ore dai confini svizzeri. Nello specifico, il Campionato Europeo è stato ospitato dalla riserva di caccia del Dr. Machiavelli a Cantalupo Ligure, Alessandria, un posto facile da raggiungere e perfetto per questo tipo di prova. English Setters European Championship 2016 (Gibier Tiré)
This year the Pointer & Setter Club Schweiz was in charge to organize this important event. Due to the complex Swiss shooting (and dog training) laws, the trial was set up in Northern Italy, only two hours away from the Swiss borders. More specifically, we were hosted by Dr. Machiavelli private shooting estate in Cantalupo Ligure (AL), a place which is both easy to reach and suitable for this kind of trial. As soon as Briony became steady to flush I, full of pride, posted some videos on Facebook. The road that brought us to steadiness was a long one, I was extremely happy to have reached what, months early, seemed to be unattainable.
